In more recent years, however, Igorrr has evolved into a project that now features a wider array of influences and a much greater emphasis on “live” instrumentation. Indeed, his latest (and arguably greatest) album “Hallelujah” saw him employing the services of artists such as Adam Stacey of Estradasphere, Teloch of Mayhem, and Patrick of pet-chickendom.
NB: The prolific, yet rather underappreciated Serre is what I consider a true musical genius, and I will not be satisfied until he scores a Gaspar Noé film.
Corpo-Mente:
Then again, those people probably aren’t worth knowing.
Innerty:
Fun facts: Track #5 “Kubark” features a collaboration with Igorrr, and the title of track #4 is named after Gaspar’s Noé’s cinematic masterpiece “Enter the Void”. Furthermore, the band’s bassist’s side-project, Zyovn, is well worth checking out, too. His recordings are all done in one take.

Furthermore, the group’s two vocalists, both of whom have appeared on past Igorrr releases (Laurent Lunoir and Laure Le Prunenec), are absolutely captivating. There’s a certain theatricality to their performances that is immensely enjoyable.
What really sets this band apart from any other, though, is the fact that they created their own fucking language - a language consisting of approximately 400 words.
Pretty cool, hey?
(Editor's note: Serre is also credited for "Studio engineering" on Öxxö Xööx's Facebook page.)
WHOURKR:
They’ve all provided vocals (albeit on separate albums - “Naät”, “Concrete” and “4247 Snare Drums”, respectively) for Gautier Serre’s now defunct death metal/breakcore project. While my personal favourite is “Concrete”, “4247” comes in at a pretty close second thanks to this little ditty.
Pryapisme:
NB: Two of the band’s members (Benjamin Bardiaux (keyboard) and Nicolas Senac (guitars), respectively) make guest appearances on Igorrr’s “Hallelujah”.
Honorable Mentions:
Vladimir Bozar ‘n’ ze Sheraf Orchestär:
“Thermostat 7” sees Vladimir collaborating with Serre, whose Midas touch is lent to the track, which most certainly does not disappoint. No surprises there though.

The [above] music video for “Love in Motion” was directed by the typically controversial (you guessed it) Gaspar Noé.
